This makes it an excellent choice for preparing print-ready files—especially when working on multi-page print projects such as presentation folders. If you only need to apply or print a logo, Adobe Illustrator is typically the better option. If you prefer, we’re happy to take care of your print files for you—completely free of charge.

Two Alternatives to InDesign

QuarkXPress

In our view, QuarkXPress feels somewhat outdated compared to more modern design tools. The interface can be unintuitive, and print outputs—especially inkjet—may not meet today’s quality expectations. While it is still used in certain workflows, we generally recommend choosing more up-to-date solutions like InDesign or Scribus.

Scribus

Scribus is a free, open-source alternative that can deliver strong results once you’ve become familiar with the software. For users working with a limited budget, it’s a highly attractive option. However, it does come with some drawbacks, such as occasional issues with PDF exports and longer loading times. Despite this, its overall value for money is excellent.
