High-Quality Collection and Organization Folder for EDEKA

To equip its employees with practical and professional work materials, a major customer from the food retail industry was looking for individually designed collection folders. The folders needed to support employees in their daily business while also creating a high-quality and professional impression during field appointments and customer meetings.

Custom Collection Folders in Corporate Design

A collection folder differs from many standard folder types because it does not include a fixed filing mechanism such as rings, clamps, or prongs. Instead, documents are placed loosely inside the folder. The contents are held in place by three overlapping flaps, which are folded over one another to secure the sheets.

This makes collection folders especially flexible in everyday use. They can hold different types of documents quickly and easily, even when the contents vary in format, quantity, or purpose. Whether employees need to carry product sheets, price lists, internal documents, presentation materials, or customer information, a collection folder offers a clean and convenient solution.

The filling height can be individually adapted depending on how many documents the folder is intended to hold. The format can also be customized. In addition to classic formats, collection folders can be produced in sizes such as A5, A3, or special formats tailored to the exact requirements of the project.

Project Details

For this project, the chosen basis was a custom collection folder designed for professional daily use. The folder was finished with black fine linen cover material on both the inside and outside, giving it a refined, durable, and understated appearance.

A subtle hot foil stamping on the cover was used to display the company logo. This type of finishing gives the folder a premium look without appearing too bold or decorative. The result is a clean corporate design that reflects professionalism, quality, and brand consistency.

To close the folder securely, an elastic band closure in matching black was added. This ensures that the contents remain protected during transport while maintaining the elegant overall appearance of the folder.
